The Allstate Sugar Bowl Tommy Moore Memorial is an annual two-day tournament featuring top-ranked junior golfers from across the country who compete each holiday season in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Tommy Moore was the most accomplished junior golfer to ever emerge from the New Orleans area. In 1980, Tommy was ranked #1 in the Golf Digest Junior World Rankings and went on to have a decorated collegiate career at Oklahoma State University where he was an All-American, National Champion, and Academic All-American.

After playing on the PGA TOUR for three seasons, Tommy Moore's life was cut short at the young age of 35 due to a rare blood disease. In his memory, the Kelly Gibson Foundation is proud to partner with the Allstate Sugar Bowl to host a national event that recognizes the impact Tommy made on junior golf and the New Orleans community.

Eligible age divisions:

Field of 84 top-ranked boys & girls from across the country ages 13-18 who are not yet enrolled in college.

Girls 13-18          Boys 13-18

Please Contact Executive Director, Taylor Capouch with any questions.

“It feels great [to be the champion]. It's my first time playing it. I had it on my schedule for a while. Preparation paid off.”

- Trip Duke

“My irons were great. My putting saved me a lot of times. I enjoyed my round overall. My mentality before my round was to play it shot-by-shot."

- Kenna Lee
